Mahmoud Mahfouz, PEng

Mahmoud Mahfouz has over six years of Mechanical Engineering design experience in 3D CAD modeling, mechanical systems modeling (control and process), failure analysis, drafting of Engineering drawings/specifications, manufacturing processes and part prototyping. Complementing this, Mahmoud has over five years experience in engineering analysis and qualification testing for client research and development projects in the Energy Industry.

His expertise includes applied research, mechanical design, failure analysis and full-scale experimental testing, as well as project management experience in managing single or joint industry clients/contractors, equipment resource planning, tracking project financials and project risk analysis.

Before founding AM Design Tech, Mahmoud owned and operated a personal small 3D printing services for local clients, printing prototype models, aiding in design for additive manufacturing, and printed fully functional parts.

Mahmoud holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with distinction from the University of Alberta and has his professional accreditation with The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
